To inform the general public and especially the parents of first-time teenage drivers that the Path GPS.com Program saves teenage lives through technology, communications and trust.
A Parent’s Testimonial
Dear Path GPS.com:
I recognize that driving an automobile is one of the most hazardous tasks we will undertake during our lifetime. ADHD/ADD amplifies those risks. Our son's safety is our responsibility and we installed the “Youth Driving Safe GPS Monitoring System” to do what we think is necessary to protect him from harm.
We know that sometimes he will see peers who do not have parents who monitor their driving like we do his. We are his parents, however, and he must abide by our family rules.
Your Path GPS.com system works as a deterrent. For example, Saturday night he went to the movies with his girlfriend. They prefer the Grapevine Mills Mall movie theater; but I allowed them to drive to the Grapevine Tinseltown movie theater. My parting comment was, "trust but verify".
He knows I have the ability to verify his choices. The Path GPS.com system helps him make better choices. The report function has been very helpful in two ways - I can monitor his speed by generating a report with a speed threshold of 65 MPH. Each and every time he exceeds 65, it is listed on the report and will be dealt with accordingly. Secondly, I can monitor how much the car is driven - mileage, this help with budgeting for gas.
